의뢰받은 이 책은 전시에 사용될 책자이자 사진에 대한 기록, 일기, 그리고 보고서이기도 하다. 전시 공간에는 A4 크기의 사진 100장이 10x10 배열로 거대한 사각형을 이루며 벽면에 설치되어 있으며, 이 책에는 각 사진에 대한 설명과 기록이 담겨 있다.
전시장의 사진과 책은 각각 '이미지'와 '텍스트'라는 독립적인 역할을 수행하며 서로 긴밀하게 상호작용한다. 이를 위해, 관객이 벽에 걸린 100장의 사진 중 하나를 선택했을 때 총 다섯 권으로 구성된 책 중에서 해당 사진이 수록된 권을 표지만 보고도 단번에 찾아낼 수 있도록 디자인했다.
This commissioned book serves as an exhibition publication, as well as a record, diary, and report on the photographs. In the exhibition space, 100 A4-sized photographs are installed on the wall in a 10x10 grid to form a giant square, while this book contains the descriptions and records of each photo.
The photographs in the space and the book each perform independent roles as 'image' and 'text,' yet they interact closely with one another. To facilitate this connection, the cover was designed so that when a viewer selects one of the 100 photos on the wall, they can instantly identify which of the five volumes contains that specific photo simply by looking at the cover.
